Dr. Foluke is a legal practitioner called to the Nigerian Bar with a wealth of experience in active practice as a litigator and also in the legal education system as a lecturer in the law faculty of a prestigious university in Nigeria. She is an established author who has published in several law journals, magazines, and legal texts. Her area of interest includes advocacy of child’s rights, women’s rights, gender-based violence. With respect to this, she has worked with various NGO’s and related bodies in advocating for these rights

Her experience and skill cuts across the legal sector having worked in various corporate firms and law clinics focused on human rights.

 

In the course of practice, Foluke has performed a series of professional duties such as being the second Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Head Advocacy Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association. She’s also a member of various professional bodies including African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), the International Federation of Women Lawyers, National Association of Counsel for Children, Chicago.

She is a partner at the firm and heads the corporate commercial practice area and also an invaluable member of the dispute resolution team, she has brought her knowledge and wealth of experience to bear in mentoring the young associates in the firm’s employ. She continues her practice as a law teacher irrespective of her current position as a partner of the firm.
